As a Senior Software Engineer on the Minecraft Online team, you will help guide the technical architecture and implement the user interfaces that millions of players will enjoy using industry standard web technologies like React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You will collaborate with teams across the studio and interface with a large C++ game engine, and ship on just about every major PC, mobile, and console platform. Responsibilities Work with the Development and Design Team to implement new features in Minecraft Online. Collaborating with C++ developers on building new UI and making API decisions. Work with designers and producers to solve user needs. Support our existing features and help evolve them. Improve ways of working and technical best practices within the team. Embody our Culture & Values Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, JavaScript, TypeScript OR equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience in React and UX development. 4+ years of experience building large-scale applications. Clear communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a natural collaborator and team player. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year. Responsibilities
