Job Description Get to Know the Team Come join the Consumer Experience (CX) Engineering team! We are on an exciting mission to build the best engagement and discovery experience for our users and win customer loyalty by serving the most important needs of customers' daily lives with a seamless, personalized and contextual experience. Get to Know the Role You will directly report to the Engineering Manager of the Consumer Experience Growth Team. As a significant and autonomous contributor to your team, your team will trust you with designing their software systems with high quality. You will take an active role in your projects as a team member and involve yourself from design to rollout, taking ownership of your work and always focusing on moving your projects forward. This is an onsite role based in Jakarta. The Critical Tasks You Will Perform Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, designers, data scientists, and product managers to build features. Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards. Brainstorm ideas, identify problems, propose and implement solutions geared towards scale and performance. Take full ownership of projects that are built to meet functional and non-functional requirements of our users and partners. Design, implement, instrument and deploy performant and reusable iOS components. Lead Collaboration with partners across teams and roles, to resolve ambiguous, multi dimensional business, legal, and product needs. Participate in interview loops to help Grab continue hiring top industry talent. Provide technical guidance, mentorship and knowledge sharing to peers. Qualifications What Essential Skills You Will Need 4+ years of professional software development experience including at least 2 years of iOS development experience. Fluent in Swift programming language. Solid computer science fundamentals in algorithms and data structures. Accountable and takes ownership of one's own work. Experience building an end-to-end feature. Experience running large-scale applications and global understanding of systems internals and tools like crash analytics, remote debugging and continuous integration. Experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions, able to think about scalability and stability. Experience in writing maintainable and testable code, including API design, unit testing, and UI testing techniques. Understand about the CI/CD implementation.
