Design and responsibility for domain-driven services on AWS – from API design to production operation
Development of standalone services across the entire stack: from Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD and application code to monitoring, logging and security controls.
Development of type-safe APIs and provision of SDK packages and supporting tools such as CLIs or frontend applications.
Design of data and processing workflows for large datasets, including automated management of metadata and storage structures to support AI-based systems.
Continuous improvement of system reliability, observability, performance, and developer experience.
Supporting other teams with architecture, infrastructure and automation issues, as well as close collaboration with AI, robotics and product teams.
What can we look forward to?
At least 5 years of experience in developing modern software systems in a DevOps-oriented environment
Excellent programming skills, ideally in TypeScript and Python
A solid understanding of software architecture and system design, e.g., domain-driven design, service-oriented systems, or clean architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS, as well as knowledge of serverless and managed cloud services.
Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar frameworks)
Experience with CI/CD systems such as GitLab CI, including build, test, and deployment automation.
Excellent knowledge of Linux-based development and deployment environments as well as container technologies such as Docker
Experience with ROS or robotics software stacks is a plus.
Excellent English skills; German skills are an advantage.
