Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of significant features and epics — design, build, test and ship.
• Bring greater awareness of non-functional requirements (security, performance, DevOps) and ensure architecture principles are followed.
• Provide thoughtful, pragmatic code review on complex PRs, capturing security concerns and ensuring secure-by-design practices.
• Set and refine code best practices; help maintain and improve QA gates.
• Be active in architecture discussions — asking questions, challenging approaches, contributing to target state.
• Drive collaboration within the team and communicate effectively across teams and geographies.
• Mentor and support mid-level, associate and graduate engineers.
• Contribute to how we design, evaluate and ship AI agents and agentic capability in the platform.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Typically 7+ years' software engineering experience, with a demonstrated track record of delivering complex work end-to-end.
• Strong backend Java and experience with Spring framework; and/or React/TypeScript; full-stack capability valued.
• Python exposure and comfort working with model-backed components and data scientists is a plus.
• Experience with containerised, cloud and on-prem delivery (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS) desirable.
• Interest or experience in AI/LLM-backed features, agents or NLP/document-intelligence domains is highly desirable.
• Recognised as a subject-matter expert in at least one technical area; a clear communicator and a positive, mentoring presence in a distributed team.
