Description
Delivers complete solutions spanning all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) (design, implementation, testing, delivery and operations), based on definitions from more senior roles. Advises immediate management on project-level issues Guides junior engineers Operates with little day-to-day supervision, making technical decisions based on knowledge of internal conventions and industry best practices Applies knowledge of technical best practices in making decisions 3+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience. Engage in the critical incident investigation alongside PPCC, SRE Critical (SREC), and/or Technical Duty Officers (TDO) to facilitate resolution and deliver an impact analysis concerning Credit's business and its customers. Lead and manage response to complex, high-priority P2+ incidents affecting batch processes, systems, and applications, ensuring prompt resolution through coordination with Product Development teams and utilizing established SISP portal workflows. Design and implement advanced automation frameworks to streamline production support operations, reduce manual intervention, and improve efficiency across Credit platform operational workflows. Lead reliability-focused initiatives ensuring Credit production systems maintain high availability and resilience while meeting stringent regulatory and compliance requirements for financial services. Enhance monitoring infrastructure and comprehensive observability solutions, implementing alerting systems that support CPE's 24/7 coverage model across APAC and North America time zones. Participate in capacity planning activities for critical batch processing workflows and production systems to ensure Credit platforms scale effectively under growing customer demands. Engage in regular disaster recovery (DR) strategy planning and testing for critical Credit production systems, collaborating closely with Product Development teams. Partner with Product Development teams and enterprise operational teams to identify opportunities for improving operational support processes. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior production reliability engineers within CPE, fostering development of Credit domain production support knowledge-base and incident response expertise. Drive continuous improvement across CPE production support workflows, utilizing MAST pages, implementing best practices for customer account remediation, and maintaining compliance with Credit business operational requirements.
