Python Expertise: 3+ years of experience with Python and its ecosystem, with a strong focus on testing and production-level application development

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Docker, Terraform, cloud services (Google or AWS), and both NoSQL and relational databases
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, a passion for learning and the ability to challenge the status quo are essential
• Languages: Fluent in English (C1 level)
• Nice-to-Have: Experience with Elasticsearch, Airflow, and monitoring tools like Datadog, a background in developing scalable and reliable systems

THE ROLE

As a (Senior) Software Engineer – Python, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our data ingestion services. You evolve architecture around Elasticsearch to automate the search for suppliers. Joining our vibrant Tech Team, your mission is to help automate our supplier search process. If you wish to work on a core AI product and have a passion for clean, efficient code, we want to hear from you!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

You will conceptualize, build, and maintain software projects for different steps in our data lineage. You will become the owner of one or several data projects and orchestrate them together with other engineers. Your focus will be some of the following:

Data Integration: Develop and maintain robust data extraction and processing microservices

• Data Store Management: Maintain and develop Elasticsearch for optimal performance and reliability as well as databases and other storage systems
• Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud resources, and version control repositories
• Collaboration: Work with adjacent teams to automate our processes and ensure data quality across our systems
• Monitoring & Quality: Continuously monitor service uptime and data quality, ensuring our systems deliver accurate and reliable information
