Your Purpose As a Senior Engineer in our Liquidity Fleet, you will be a key driver in evolving Bitso Alpha Pro, our professional grade trading platform. You will build and optimize high-performance interfaces that handle complex order types and advanced Technical Analysis tools. You'll help develop and launch our new margin trading product, partnering with Product and Design to build seamless experiences for active traders. Reports To Engineering Manager Who You Are Experienced: 5+ years of experience working as a Frontend Software Engineer (React) or similar role. Frontend Specialist: Strong professional experience with React, TypeScript, and the Next.js framework. Data & State Expert: Proficiency in data fetching and caching strategies (e.g., SWR, React Query) and managing real-time data flows (WebSockets). Trading Domain Knowledge: You have a solid understanding of how trading platforms work, including order books, market dynamics, and technical indicators. Quality Focused: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring (e.g., Datadog), and a commitment to writing clean, well-tested code. Growth Mindset: Excellent English communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts and a proactive commitment to continuous learning. Backend Interest: You are a frontend engineer at heart but are eager to contribute to or understand the Backend-for-Frontend (BFF). Nice-to-have Experience with Tailwind CSS for UI development Basic familiarity with React Native. Previous experience in the Crypto industry. What You Will Do Build the Future of Alpha Pro: Design and maintain high-performance features for the Alpha Pro web platform. Implement Complex Financial UI: Develop intuitive interfaces for Margin Trading, advanced order entry, and technical analysis charting. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to define requirements and deliver high-impact features. Bridge the Stack: Collaborate on the design of APIs and BFF layers to ensure the frontend is powered by efficient and scalable data structures. Data-Driven Development: Integrate analytics platforms (Segment, Amplitude) and execute A/B testing strategies to validate hypotheses, and improve user experience. Quality: Write clean, testable code, ensuring our frontend applications are fast, scalable, and bug-free. Your Team This role does not have direct reports. You will be a key member of the engineering team, collaborating closely with other web engineers, backend, and mobile engineers to achieve our team's goals.
