This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer in India. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native services. You will work across backend, automation, and orchestration layers to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available systems. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate new features, optimize operational performance, and implement observability and monitoring solutions. You will also contribute to architecture improvements, refactoring, and automation of existing processes, ensuring production-ready deployments for multiple products and services. This position offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence while leveraging modern technologies and DevOps best practices in an agile, collaborative environment. Accountabilities: · Develop, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines for multiple products and services. · Implement automation and orchestration solutions for build, test, and deployment processes. · Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, ensure seamless deployments, and provide operational support. · Contribute to system architecture improvements and refactor legacy systems for greater automation. · Develop dashboards, logging, and observability solutions to track application and server performance. · Participate in Scrum lifecycle activities and take ownership of operational readiness and emergency response. · 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development, and software engineering. · Proficient in object-oriented programming using Java or Python. · Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory) and build automation frameworks (Terraform, Shell scripting). · Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet. · Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerized solutions (Docker, Kubernetes). · Knowledge of version control systems (Git, SVN) and branching/merging strategies. · Experience in monitoring, observability, and centralized logging tools (e.g., SignalFX, New Relic, SumoLogic). · Familiarity with security best practices and production support for large-scale systems. · BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. · Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. · Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. · Health and wellness coverage, including medical, vision, and dental benefits. · Paid time off, parental leave, and flexible work schedules. · Opportunities for professional growth and skill development. · Recognition programs and employee engagement initiatives. · Supportive environment for learning and leveraging AI tools for process improvement.
