As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and evolving a high-impact route planning SaaS platform used by enterprise clients to optimize complex delivery operations. You will work across the full stack, focusing on both frontend and backend systems, and contribute to building scalable, performant, and reliable features. This role offers the chance to tackle challenging real-world logistics problems, enhance system stability, and influence engineering strategy from day one. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers while mentoring team members and shaping technical best practices. Accountabilities Design, build, and deploy core features for a route planning platform, handling complex logistics scenarios such as driver breaks, fuel stops, and proof-of-delivery workflows. Lead development efforts across frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (GraphQL, Postgres) systems, balancing short-term delivery with long-term maintainability. Improve system reliability, data accuracy, and application performance through thoughtful architecture, proactive updates, and scalability-focused solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and engineers—to plan technical initiatives and deliver high-quality outcomes. Triage and resolve production issues quickly, ensuring timely fixes and minimal disruption to enterprise clients. Contribute to a culture of communication, continuous improvement, and mentorship within the engineering team. Advanced frontend engineering expertise with React and Next.js, including component architecture, state management, and performance optimization. Strong backend experience with Postgres and GraphQL, including writing efficient SQL queries and designing scalable architectures. Proven ability to balance short-term project delivery with long-term code health and maintainability. Exceptional communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and presenting technical solutions to complex problems. Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team growth. Bonus: Experience in high-growth SaaS environments, logistics technology, enterprise-level scaling, or React Native development.
