Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer specializing in native iOS application development with Swift. This role is central to our internal inspection team, focusing on the design and implementation of scalable, high-quality iOS solutions. You will be a hands-on contributor, a technical leader, and a mentor to junior and intermediate engineers. Your expertise will be critical in driving architectural decisions, ensuring code quality, and integrating seamlessly with backend services.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on native iOS application development.
  • Proficiency in the Swift language and extensive experience building and deploying production-grade iOS applications using SwiftUI.
  • Deep understanding of iOS frameworks and core components, including the URL Loading System (URLSession, HTTP, REST APIs), Core Data, and AVFoundation.
  • Experience with synchronous and asynchronous programming and modern concurrency APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with platform-specific tools like Xcode, Instruments, and Git.
  • Experience with AWS and/or Google frameworks and Cloud services such as Firebase, BigQuery, S3, or various databases.
  • Familiarity with backend development concepts and integrating with cloud services.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like XCTest and a strong focus on testable code.
  • Nice to have: Experience with Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, and Storyboards for maintaining or porting legacy code.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
