We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to drive the development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering and QA teams, tackling complex technical challenges across multiple products. You will contribute to full-stack development, maintain and modernize existing systems, and implement best practices for clean, maintainable, and high-quality code. Accountabilities: · Develop high-quality web applications using Ruby on Rails and React.js, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. · Collaborate with software, data, and QA engineers to deliver full-stack solutions across multiple products. · Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, defects, and technical challenges in both front-end and back-end systems. · Maintain, modernize, and optimize existing applications and integrations. · Follow standard software development, testing, and deployment practices, ensuring clarity and completeness of user stories. · Provide reliable time estimates, conduct peer code reviews, and recommend improvements for codebase and processes. · Take ownership of assigned work, demonstrating curiosity, initiative, and commitment to engineering excellence. · 6+ years of professional software development experience. · Strong hands-on expertise in Ruby on Rails and React.js. · Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP. · Solid experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. · Experience with background job processing systems like Sidekiq. · Strong understanding of Git workflows, JavaScript frameworks, and code refactoring. · Proficient in both front-end and back-end development with willingness to work across the stack. · Ownership mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and collaborative approach. · Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher) for effective communication with international teams. · Based in India and available to work from 7:00 PM–10:00 PM IST at least three days per week. · 100% remote work with flexibility and autonomy in delivering solutions. · Opportunity to work on challenging, high-impact projects. · Collaborative environment with skilled and supportive team members. · Emphasis on software craftsmanship and technical excellence. · Freedom from unnecessary bureaucracy, with access to the right tools and processes for success. · Professional growth and skill development through exposure to full-stack technologies and best practices.
