MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years focused on testing and automation in the AI/ML or systems software space
  • Good knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or others
  • Hands-on experience with test frameworks such as Pytest or GTest for performance and functional testing of distributed systems
  • Experience triaging issues identified during testing, diagnosing root causes, and working with team members to resolve failures or bottlenecks
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design test plans, debug issues, and validate features throughout the software lifecycle
  • Develop and enhance testing tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to improve test efficiency
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and integrating with cloud-native services
  • Familiarity with debugging tools like GDB, Trace32, or similar
  • Exposure to hardware-level testing and validation, particularly in AI/ML workloads
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring and analysis tools for systems such as perf, valgrind, or similar
Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our AI Inference Engine and Host Runtime Team. As an SDET focused on inference and systems software, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our AI infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for our systems, ensuring that D-Matrix hardware and software platforms deliver the performance and reliability needed for production environments. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to test and validate high-performance systems used in AI inference workloads.
