MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. * 5 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java, C/C++, Python, or Go. * Experience with storage systems. * Experience in software security. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field. * 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role. * Experience with large-scale distributed systems. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Write and test product or system development code. * Provide technical leadership and direct engineering building and launching company-wide access security infrastructure with specialization in securing Google storage systems. * Design, develop and maintain storage systems privileged access infrastructure and storage system integrations. * Work closely with software engineers, product managers and partner engineering teams to drive high-quality infrastructure for securing Storage Systems privileged access. * Identify, clearly communicate to stakeholders and mitigate technical risks.
