The tasks:

• Development and technical enhancement of modern cloud applications with a focus on the backend.
• Participation in the design of architecture, technical concepts and sustainable solutions
• Ensuring stability, maintainability, performance and good observability of the applications
• Identifying technical risks and developing appropriate countermeasures at an early stage
• Supporting the team with complex technical issues and architectural decisions
• Use of modern AI tools to support development, analysis, testing and documentation
• Integration of AI services and large language models into existing software architectures
• Further development of solutions related to AI agents and their use throughout the development process

Your profile:

• Several years of experience in cloud-native software development, especially in the backend.
• Excellent knowledge of Java, Spring, REST APIs and microservices
• Practical experience with cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD and observability
• Experience with operating distributed applications and corresponding requirements for stability and monitoring
• Safe handling of AI-supported development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Coding Agents or similar solutions
• Knowledge in the development and integration of AI applications, LLMs and AI services
• Experience with the design or use of AI agents and agent frameworks is an advantage.
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
• Enjoyment in trying out new technologies and promoting their meaningful use in software development
