We are seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our team as we accelerate the development of our next‑generation Compliance Engine for EH&S solution, an enterprise-grade solution certified for SAP S/4HANA. The Sphera Compliance Engine for EH&S is an integrated pre-packaged product compliance suite for SAP EH&S that delivers regulatory data, rule sets, phrases, templates and content editing/configuration tools in order to automate the generation of compliant global regulatory documents, such as Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), out-of-the-box. Responsibilities: Contribute as part of an agile team to our existing solution, driving maintenance, continuous improvements, automation, regulatory updates, and complex mapping work, while progressively taking on new development responsibilities within our next‑generation solution. Write and maintain comprehensive unit test and integration tests. Collaborate closely with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Collaborate with technical writers to ensure product changes, regulatory updates, and new features are accurately documented. Collaborate with product owners and domain expert to understand business requirements for user story creation and refinement. Provide input for project estimation, planning, scheduling, and reporting of development progress. Mentor and guide junior developers, sharing best practices and promoting continuous learning. Continuously expand knowledge in relevant technical stacks and business domains. Required Education: University degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience. Required Experience: 7+ years of professional software development using modern technologies, frameworks, and tools. Solid experience with SAP development, including ABAP, SAPGUI, Fiori, Transports and BC Sets. Experience with the SAP EH&S module, including WWI and Property Tree. Experience with complex XML data mapping and transformations workflow. Experience with Windows service and desktop application development in .NET (C#, WPF) Proficiency in database programming (.NET LINQ, SQL). Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and pipelines, including PowerShell scripting for automation and tooling. Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively both independently and within a dynamic, cross‑functional team Ability to collaborate with remote colleagues. Proven time management, organizational and follow-up skills to meet deadlines Quality‑focused mindset with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Willingness to learn new technologies, tools and processes as needed. Strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountability. Proficiency in English.
