Your tasks

Technical responsibility for central functions of the symmedia Hub platform in the Apollo team, especially in the area of service case management.
Further development of our cloud-native microservice architecture with Java, Azure, Kubernetes, React and modern DevOps approaches
Technical leadership without disciplinary responsibility: Preparing architectural decisions, structuring solutions, and helping to shape the technical direction within the team.
Active participation in software development – from conception through implementation, testing and review to productive operation.
Responsibility for the quality, maintainability, scalability and security of the services under management.
Further development of related platform topics such as authentication, authorization, APIs and integration of distributed systems
Close collaboration with the Product Owner, development team, Technical Owners and CTO/CPO organization
Identification and reduction of technical debt, as well as continuous improvement of architecture, code quality, and development processes.
Active use and further development of AI-supported software development, e.g. for coding, refactoring, testing, documentation and reviews.
Regular and targeted sharing of your knowledge – within the team and across team boundaries

Several years of experience in professional software development, ideally in a senior or lead role.
Excellent knowledge of backend development with Java
Solid experience with microservice architectures, distributed systems, and cloud-native software development
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, GitOps, ArgoCD or similar technologies
Understanding of modern frontend architectures with React or a willingness to learn about related topics
Experience in the productive operation of SaaS software including monitoring, observability, alerting and DevOps responsibility
A good understanding of security-by-design, secure software development, and authentication and authorization concepts.
Experience in using AI-supported development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT or similar tools
Ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way, to prepare decisions and to implement them pragmatically
