Description
Senior Software Engineer / System Architect About Reverse Resources Founded in 2015, Reverse Resources (RR) has been at the forefront of driving the circular economy in the textiles and fashion industry through our innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform. It's a data-driven supply chain management tool for waste, offering real-time data, transparency and market insight both to the industry and the public sector. We connect brands with recycling partners and provide recyclers with access to high-quality waste in a transparent and cost-effective way. Our focus has been inventing a digital backbone and market mechanism for a feasible textile-to-textile recycling market to emerge. We've done the work with building the supply end of industrial waste from 400 garment factories along with 18 of the largest fashion brands to get connected with recyclers. We've also built a concept how to bring in the post-consumer waste recycling along the European emerging regulation. So now we are moving ahead towards launching the first ever circular commodity market in the world for textile waste as a raw material for the fashion industry. It's a big ambition! But we've done the homework - the market experiments to test out the economics and market mechanisms along with building a huge client network with ~20% of the global fashion industry included. Now we need to build the tech to deliver the promise!
