ROLE DESCRIPTION

Our team is looking for a Senior Technical Lead Engineer to join us in building and scaling our platform (a next-generation e-commerce platform combining a marketplace with workflow tools to support modern workplaces manage catering / pantry / meals).
We are looking for folk who are ever-curious and love crafting experiences that delight customers.
You will help invent new features, design, develop and deploy next generation products as the company grows.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Oversee and maintain critical backend infrastructure components to ensure ecommerce platform stability and performance.
• Lead the architecture and implementation of new features and services; with specific consideration of database modelling efforts (to meet data archival/logging requirements).
• Ensure high-performance database management. Contribute to web upgrade performance enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve backend infrastructure issues.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a technical excellence culture.
• Build, maintain & shape our product, with specific consideration for: the development of workflow tools to assist both marketplace customers and suppliers communicate, coordinate and transact; and the optimisation of Hampr’s ecommerce platform with performance and maintainability in mind.
