DESCRIPTION The Peripherals system quality team is looking for a creative and motivated full-stack software engineer with excellent problem-solving, software architecture, and communication skills. This is your chance to join a team in a key role that will help drive future Apple products. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be involved in the architecture, design, and full-stack development of various software frameworks targeted to improve our overall product quality. You will lead the definition and creation of scalable test infrastructure, core software libraries, and tools to streamline lab automation. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree (BSEE/CS) or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on full-stack engineering, system architecture, and service maintenance. Strong programming skills in Python. Proficiency in modern full-stack development (backend services, database design, RESTful APIs, and frontend interfaces). Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and managing containerized applications. Familiarity with multiple cloud services and CI/CD. Proven ability to not only develop software but also deploy, manage, and maintain the containerized services and cloud environments you build. Good understanding of macOS and testing methodologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are required to collaborate seamlessly with our remote engineers. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with JavaScript, C, Objective-C, or Swift is a strong plus. Japanese language skills are a plus. Experience with IO technologies, protocol stacks and computer accessories (USB, Thunderbolt devices). A passion for product quality and a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, along with a good instinct for discovering defects in software and hardware.
