Primary Responsibilities: Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, system design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance Design and implement high‑quality product features, including reusable components, frameworks, and libraries that support long‑term scalability and maintainability Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT partners to translate requirements into technical solutions Develop scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions aligned with architectural standards and engineering best practices Contribute to and operate within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions to improve system performance and stability Ensure code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and adherence to established development standards Continuously improve the software development process and contribute to the technical roadmap through innovation and thought leadership You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with C#/.NET Core, MS SQL/T-SQL, and building web and Windows applications 5+ years of experience with front-end and API technologies, including React, jQuery, AJAX etc. 2+ years of Cloud and DevOps experience, including Azure Cloud, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD tools 1+ years of experience developing services, functions, and patterns using AI coding tools Preferred Qualifications Healthcare industry knowledge Expertise in performance and scalability optimization *All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group’s Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
