About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Engineering Technical Interviewer to conduct high-signal, structured technical interviews across core software engineering disciplines. You will evaluate candidates for roles including Backend Engineers (Java, Python, Node.js, .NET, Go, etc.), Frontend Engineers (React, Angular, Vue, etc.), Full-Stack Engineers, Mobile Engineers (iOS, Android, Flutter, React Native), Embedded/Systems Engineers. You will partner closely with Recruiting, Engineering leadership to maintain consistent hiring standards, improve interview quality, and reduce time-to-hire without compromising the candidate experience. This role is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about assessment design and fair decision-making. Location: Fully Remote Contract: Freelancing contract / Full Time Employment Key Responsibilities Conduct technical interviews (screening, coding, system design, domain deep-dives) for multiple software engineering tracks. Evaluate candidates on problem-solving, coding quality, fundamentals (DSA), system design, debugging, and communication. Use structured rubrics and consistent scoring; produce clear hire/no-hire signals and written feedback in the ATS. Calibrate with interview panels to reduce bias and improve alignment on leveling. Help refine interview questions, take-home tasks (if used), and bar-raiser standards. Ensure an excellent candidate experience (professional, timely, respectful). Stacks/Areas Covered (as applicable per hiring needs) Backend: Java, Python, Node.js, .NET, Go; REST/GraphQL; SQL/NoSQL Frontend: React, Angular, Vue; TypeScript; web performance Full-stack: end-to-end architecture, APIs, databases Mobile: iOS (Swift), Android (Kotlin/Java), Flutter, React Native Embedded/Systems: C/C++, RTOS, Linux, hardware integration 5+ years professional experience in software engineering (any of the tracks above). Proven ability to conduct technical interviews (formal interviewer experience strongly preferred). Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, complexity). Comfortable assessing system design and code quality. Strong written and verbal communication.
