Description
SAIC has an opportunity for a Senior Software License Manager to support the US Army Corps of Engineers Revolutionary IT Services (USACE RITS) program. The primary responsibility for this position is assisting with the processing of tickets and queue requests to support the needs of the business; as well as to assist with driving process improvement through the transformation of existing process workflows. This position is 100%25 remote(work from home). The Senior Software License Manager will be responsible for but not limited to the following: Collect and enter data into Flexera FlexNet Manager Suite and process/link to software licenses to create a holistic license position. Enters and maintains all required data in a timely and accurate fashion Identify unlicensed software on assets and prepare recommendations to communicate risk exposure to management Function as an initial point of contact to customer inquiries related to end-user license agreements, terms of contracts, maintenance/service schedules/cost, and any other information related to software license management Maintain vendor license data and download the required software products and updates from vendor sites in support of application packaging activities Support audit activities (internal, external and self-audits) to demonstrate compliance and prepare recommendations on remediation activities Prepare and submit purchase packages for maintenance, support and renewals to meet customer requirements Submit and participate in Software Lifecycle (End-of-Life/End-of-Support) and License Management process improvement activities Provide data manipulation and analysis for license management reports and metrics Required Education: Bachelor's degree and five (5) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree. Required Clearance: Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain; US Citizenship required. Required Skills: Current experience with Flexera and ServiceNow asset management tools Understand basic IT components (infrastructure, software, PCs, Databases) and how they interact Understanding of license models from top publishers (i.e. Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Autodesk, Cisco)
