JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or other related field, or at least 5 years of experience in a relevant technical industry
  • Knowledge and skills in project management methodologies
  • High communication and interpersonal skills
  • High organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Jira
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills
    Salary is commensurate with qualifications. A full benefits package is being offered, including health, life, disability insurance, 401(K), paid holidays, Flex days, vision, and tuition reimbursement. No relocation is being offered.

Responsibilities

The senior software project director will be responsible for overseeing two software development directors and ensuring that software projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the stakeholders. They are responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects. This involves helping defining project scope, creating schedules, allocating resources, managing risks, and monitoring progress.
The senior software project director is also responsible for communicating with stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members, to ensure everyone is on the same page. They must have strong leadership skills, be able to manage competing priorities, and have a deep understanding of software development methodologies and tools.
