This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software QA Engineer based in United States. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of complex software systems that support critical healthcare and insurance workflows. You will work in a fully remote, collaborative Agile environment where quality is central to delivering impactful technology used in real-world recovery and claims processes. The position blends manual testing expertise with growing opportunities in test automation, offering a chance to strengthen QA maturity across the product suite. You will partner closely with developers, product owners, and analysts to define test coverage and validate requirements from early development through release cycles. A strong focus is placed on defect prevention, continuous improvement, and data-driven validation. This is a hands-on role with meaningful impact on both product quality and end-user outcomes. \n Accountabilities In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing while contributing to Agile development cycles and continuous improvement initiatives. Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases across web-based application suites Develop and manage test cases in Azure DevOps based on user stories and acceptance criteria Identify, document, and track defects throughout their lifecycle with clear reproduction steps and severity classification Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to validate requirements and ensure test coverage Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, demos, and backlog refinement Support release validation, including QA and UAT testing during deployment cycles Contribute to QA process improvements and expansion of automation coverage where applicable Requirements The ideal candidate brings strong manual testing experience, solid technical understanding, and the ability to work effectively in fast-paced Agile environments, particularly within healthcare or insurance domains.
