THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a skilled and driven Senior Software Quality Engineer for a full-time, 6-month contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects involving modern enterprise web applications. As a key member of our quality engineering team, you’ll help shape the strategies, tools, and frameworks that ensure the reliability and performance of our software. QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and QA automation.
• Proficiency with Ruby, Selenium, and related testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of modern web architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with source control systems such as Git.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated success working in Agile environments and contributing to cross-disciplinary teams.
• Ability to think critically about complex systems and diagnose problems in both code and process.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Background with Cucumber or other BDD tools.
• Exposure to continuous integration/deployment pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience in mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge across teams.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute test strategies across the software development lifecycle.
• Design and implement scalable automated testing solutions using Ruby/Selenium-based frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks to support continuous integration and fast delivery cycles.
• Develop comprehensive test plans for large-scale projects, balancing technical and business priorities.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to quality-driven project planning.
• Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality and team efficiency.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members and promote best practices in quality and automation.
• Serve as a key voice on all things quality, ensuring testing is embedded into development processes from day one.
