We are seeking a highly motivated, self-directed, and experienced individual to define a vision for automated testing, drive the implementation plans, and direct technology choice for full-stack automation of a world-class medical-grade software solution. As a Software Quality Engineer in our MMS organization, you will have direct responsibility for the software development testing strategy that spans backend servers, front-end UI, and a variety of technologies, including .Net, Java, web front-ends, etc.
Duration of Employment: This position has a 2-year duration, and will include benefits such as medical, health, dental, and 401k. Eligibility for these benefits will be based on the eligibility requirements as determined by the BD Total Rewards policy. If at the end of that period you have not been offered or have not accepted another position within BD, your employment will be terminated, and you will not be eligible for severance per Company policy or plan.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of growing responsibility in R & D roles, with extensive and successful experience in test automation, with at least 2 years in a senior role required.
• Experience with healthcare environments is preferred.

• Strong written and oral communication skills required. Experience interacting with global teams is a strong plus.

• Willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic and international).

• Execute and be accountable for the software testing methodology.
• Define comprehensive test plans for medical device software.
• Execute test plans according to Quality Management Systems
• Participate in due diligence and evaluation of internal and external software products and solutions that support the development of high-quality MMS software products.
