About the Assignment We are looking for an experienced Software Release Leader to support a Vehicle Engineering organization working with systems such as interior, exterior, chassis, and climate. You will join a global development environment where structured planning, clear communication, and strong collaboration are key to successful software releases. The Software Factory & Release function enables software build and continuous integration flows, and provides expertise across software testing, HIL rigs, integration, and release processes. In this role, you will act as a central driver for release execution and alignment across multiple vehicle programs. Job Description Lead and drive software releases and related documentation across vehicle programs Plan, communicate, and execute the software plan to secure release milestones Represent Vehicle Engineering in cross-functional forums and act as a key interface toward other Release Leaders Collaborate with Software Integration Leaders to prepare functional content and documentation for release branches Safeguard release content by ensuring correct documentation and configuration integrity Monitor and manage fault reports affecting the release branch and support resolution activities Guide software teams on release plans, merge requests, testing needs, and delivery scheduling Remove blockers and drive cross-team alignment through strong stakeholder management Work closely with integration and test leaders to create and execute release-focused test plans Track test outcomes and provide release status reporting to program management Requirements Solid experience working with software integration and release processes Engineering background (university degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar) Proven ability to lead through influence and cross-functional collaboration Experience within automotive software engineering and release documentation Experience from complex product development organizations Fluency in English, written and spoken Nice to have Knowledge of automotive product development processes Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis, so we recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
