Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Software Systems Engineering to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and four (4) or more years experience; Master’s degree and 2 or more years experience.
  • Experience with a combination of the following: C, C++, Embedded C, Assembly, VHDL, Verilog, Python, Bash, React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
  • Able to communicate cross-functionally with all levels.
  • Thrives in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen.
  • Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process
Responsibilities
  • Performs technical planning, high level and detailed requirements definition, test planning and execution (to include use cases, test procedures and test data), software systems integration, and technical support for software systems and subsystems.
  • Total software system product may include concept design, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
  • Conducts analysis and collaborates with subject matter experts in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for information storage, processing, presentation, manipulation, display, or reporting.
  • End product may be special use, customized, or commercial software.
  • Analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops autonomous services, desktop applications, web applications, scripts, and utility programs.
