Additionally, you will contribute to the set-up of the Hardware-in-the-loop test environment. Responsibilities Propose verification strategy and contribute to the definition of the Software Verification Plan and test environment. Contribute to the set-up of the Hardware-in-the-loop test environment, and other test equipment as required. Liaising with tool vendors and supporting the tool integration activity. Perform Test Coverage and Structural Coverage analysis. Perform Model Coverage analysis for design models and Model Simulation for verification of model. Creation and execution of test procedures and generation of test reports as per the configuration management plan. Capturing defects and anomalies in problem reports and proposing solutions. Writing technical documentation. Participate in peer reviews. Work within a cross-functional team to achieve project goals. Perform other related duties as required. Report all hazards and incidents that the individual is party to, or observes, in the correct manner. When required or directed, participate in any health and safety training. Skills and Experience Qualifications: Degree in an applicable field (aerospace, automation, medical, automotive, robotics, computer science, physics, etc.) Essential: Experience of working to RTCA DO-178 and DO-331. Working knowledge of embedded C programming. Experience of using a scripting language (Python or similar). Demonstrable experience in verification of safety critical software. Understanding of real-time software systems. Experienced in configuration management and bug-tracking tools. Proficient in spoken and written English. Desirable: Familiarity of avionics communications protocols. Experience using verification and analysis tools such as Rapita, LDRA or similar. Experience of hardware level debugging. Experience of model-based environments such as Simulink. Experience writing test cases in Simulink Test.
