The Senior Software Workflow Sales Specialist is responsible for the sale of SCIEX OS software workflow solutions. This individual will work independently and drive revenue and order growth within a designated territory. The role involves supporting existing customers, acquiring new customers, cross-selling to current clients, and collaborating with distribution channels to boost SCIEX OS software sales.
This position reports to the Director, Service Sales and is part of the Commercial Service Sales located in Singapore / Japan / Korea and will be fully remote. We are also open to having this role based in other locations within SEA, ANZ, HK & Taiwan.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB INCLUDE:

  • 6 or more years of successful experience in direct sales for Life Sciences industry with emphasis in software workflows .
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences or equivalent experience that provides knowledge and exposure to life sciences fundamental theories, principles and concepts.
  • Extensive knowledge of Mass Spectrometry ( MS ) and or Liquid chromatography ( LC ) & experience with Sciex equipment is advantageous.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP or similar CRM software

TRAVEL, MOTOR VEHICLE RECORD & PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to travel at least 40% of your time
  • Ability to meet Vendor Credentialing requirements is a plus.

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ALSO POSSESS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Voice of the Customer: Collaborating with other functional and business leaders to ensure the Voice of the Customer is heard at the global, regional, product, and business unit levels.
  • Account Strategies: Partnering closely with colleagues in field sales and field service to develop and implement successful account strategies.
  • Operational Improvement: Actively participating in workshops/Kaizens to improve business operation

Responsibilities
  • Meet and Exceed Sales Targets: Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned geographic territory/accounts forecast and targets through effective selling skills and managing all stages of the sales cycle.
  • Generate Software Sales: Support the generation of software sales through Software Workflow solutions, negotiating complex transactions, and working closely with the commercial sales team to drive standalone software sales and upgrades in the Americas.
  • Content Creation and Demand Generation: Support the generation of sales content around software and software workflows and collaborate with marketing to execute plans that drive demand and impact the win rate for standalone software and software upgrades.
  • Customer Engagement and Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver customer demonstrations showcasing SCIEX LC/MS/MS software product advantages, conduct software workflow demonstrations during the sales process, and build and deliver technical presentations to customers (remotely and/or live).
  • Business Development and Collaboration: Work with various business units and the marketing team to identify new business opportunities, define new product requirements, develop value propositions, and ensure success during new software product introductions. Additionally, act as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
