POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solar PV Engineer to lead the technical development and design of large-scale solar PV projects (with/without energy storage) and hybrid microgrid systems in the MENA region.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of experience in solar PV engineering, including at least 2 large-scale projects (>10MW).
• Experience with hybrid microgrid systems (PV + BESS + generators).
• Proficient in PVsyst, HOMER Pro, AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant design software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Willing to travel within the MENA region.

• Lead feasibility studies, resource assessments, and system designs for utility-scale and C&I solar PV projects.
• Design and size PV arrays, inverters, cables, switchgear, grounding, and protection systems.
• Conduct performance simulations and technical-economic evaluations.
• Prepare technical proposals, drawings, and bills of materials.
• Manage technical risks and ensure compliance with international standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and partners throughout project stages.
