Responsibilities

Chapman Tripp’s busy and vibrant Auckland Environment and Planning team has expert technical knowledge, extensive practical experience and an unmatched track record. We are now looking for a talented lawyer with 5+PQE to join this high-performing team.
As the successful candidate, you will be working directly with three of New Zealand’s leading Environment and Planning partners, Paula Brosnahan, Luke Hinchey and Alana Lampitt, getting involved in a range of matters.
Our team works on projects, planning and regulatory reforms that affect New Zealand in a significant way – think major state highways, airports, ports, power generation projects and electricity distribution, major industry and mining, and residential and retirement developments.
We are leading specialists in climate change law, sustainability and ESG and act for clients on climate change litigation, emissions trading and climate change risk assessment and disclosure.
There is a lot to get involved in, and the work will definitely be varied.
