Your tasks

As a Senior Solution Architect (m/f/d), you are a technical driving force and sparring partner for software development. You don't have to program everything yourself – but you know how good software is created and which technologies truly advance development teams.

Among other things, you will be dealing with:

• They evaluate new technologies, tools and methods, and in particular put AI-supported software development and automation into practice.
• They advise development teams on architectural issues related to Java, Spring, APIs, quality, observability and cloud-native development.
• They are driving forward modern architectural concepts such as microservices, event-driven architecture, domain-driven design, and API-first.
• They improve the Developer Experience (DevEx) and work with the teams to develop better processes, tools and ways of working.
• They share their knowledge in workshops, coaching sessions and technical communities, creating space for exchange and collaborative learning.
• They work closely with architects, product teams and developers to develop reusable technical solutions and standards.
• They help shape strategic technology initiatives and actively contribute to how AI and agent-based software development will be used in the future.

Your profile

You are a software developer, architect or technical innovator and enjoy designing not only code, but also technical solutions and development standards.

Ideally, you should bring:

• A degree in computer science or a comparable IT qualification
• Several years of experience in software engineering and very good knowledge of Java, Spring, APIs and databases
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, DDD and API-first
• Practical knowledge of Kafka, GitLab, Kubernetes, containers, CI/CD and cloud-native technologies
• Enthusiasm for AI, LLMs, AI Agents and the question of how AI can sustainably change software development
• The ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way and to put them into practice together with development teams.
• A passion for software craftsmanship, continuous learning, and technological exchange
• Excellent communication skills in German (at least C1 level) and English (at least B1 level)
