As a Sr Solution Consultant, you will work closely with their regional Sales, presales, and partner channel to drive new Genesys Cloud CX business & deliver professional product demonstrations to clients and prospects whilst addressing any technical questions raised throughout the sales process. In this role, you may also act as the voice of the customer and community to communicate needs, gaps, and enhancements to our engineering and leadership teams.
A successful Sr Solution Consultant at Genesys will be focused on excellence; taking the initiative to improve both themselves and the team through continuous learning and questioning the status quo.
Innovation, motivation, commitment, and proactive working are all key attributes required for this role.

Some details about what you’ll do:

  • Providing Presales support to sales including customer-facing presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, solution designs, quoting, and answering RFx and technical questions with a dedicated focus on supporting regional sales teams and partner channel, from both business and technical point of view.
  • Creating custom demos tailored to the prospects’ needs.
  • Assisting with trials and proof of concepts (POC)
  • Assisting partners with technical questions from the field
  • Providing partner enablement with a pre-sales focus
  • Traveling to partner/customer meetings as required.
  • Staying ahead of relevant technology & security trends through internal training, self-study, and industry-standard certifications.
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and guide additional value
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows. A Sr Solution Consultant actively contribute to promote Genesys brand acting as a Genesys solution evangelist, communicating with public about technology or product and presenting at conferences and events.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years in presales, consulting, or related customer-facing roles, ideally within the contact center or customer experience space.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • Ability to present confidently to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific contact center requirements and operational challenges.
  • Curiosity for technology and eagerness to explore advancements in AI, cloud, and digital transformation.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Familiarity with scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Python)
  • Familiarity with REST API’s & Web Services.
