POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Senior Solution Engineer, you’ll collaborate closely with sales, product, and account teams to understand customer needs, craft compelling demonstrations, and deliver impactful presentations. Your work will directly support our mission to drive account growth, product adoption, and user success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 6+ years’ experience in Construction or Infrastructure, ideally in roles such as Project Manager, BIM Manager, Construction Planner, or Solution Engineer.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Infrastructure, Construction, or a related field.
  • Fluent German speaker or bilingual proficiency.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to explain complex technical solutions in a clear, compelling way.
  • Creative problem-solver with strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making.
  • Quick learner with a strong technical aptitude and ability to master new products.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience in project management and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities
  • Champion Bentley’s solutions across the infrastructure sector, engaging audiences from C-level executives to end users.
  • Design and deliver tailored presentations and live demonstrations that highlight the value of Bentley applications.
  • Lead or support discovery sessions to define solution requirements aligned with account objectives.
  • Represent Bentley at sales and marketing events, acting as a technical ambassador.
  • Provide actionable feedback to Product Teams to enhance our offerings and collaborate on product updates.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, standards, and competitor offerings to inform solution strategies.
  • Demonstrate technical value to stakeholders, including designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and owners.
  • Gather account-specific insights during engagements and share with internal teams to inform strategy.
  • Support sales opportunities and account planning using the Bentley Sales Process and Salesforce.
  • Facilitate smooth transitions to Services engagements through effective knowledge sharing.
  • Assist in delivering training sessions when needed.
  • Foster a collaborative “One Bentley” culture by working cross-functionally to benefit our customers.
