Description
At Heartland, we’re focused on making banking simpler and better for New Zealanders. Behind that promise is a strong technology foundation — and we’re looking for a Senior Solutions Analyst to help ensure our enterprise platforms are stable, secure, and well‑run. As a Senior Solutions Analyst, you’ll be a senior individual contributor responsible for the day‑to‑day operational support and lifecycle execution of a nominated subset of Heartland’s enterprise platforms. This includes both internally developed systems and key SaaS platforms such as Workday, Genesys, and Pega‑built solutions. Operating under the direction and governance of the Enterprise Platforms Manager, you’ll play a critical role in keeping systems reliable and compliant — ensuring changes are well tested, issues are resolved effectively, and controls are executed consistently. While you won’t own platforms or budgets, your work will directly support operational resilience and the effective running of critical enterprise systems. This role blends hands‑on technical support, structured governance, and strong stakeholder engagement. Does this sound like you? You bring strong analytical and problem‑solving capability, with a disciplined approach to operational support and platform lifecycle management. You’re detail‑oriented, organised, and comfortable operating within structured governance, while still navigating ambiguity. You thrive in a fast paced environment and bring experience with: Supporting enterprise applications in financial services or other regulated environments Managing SaaS platforms such as Workday or comparable enterprise systems Coordinating system upgrades and leading structured UAT cycles Workflow or case management platforms (e.g. Pega or similar tools) Access control management and audit support Supporting internally developed applications (desirable) Vendor relationship management Understanding SaaS architecture and integration principles Application governance and access control frameworks A bit about us and what we do Heartland is an NZX/ASX-listed financial services group with big growth plans.
