QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of technical pre-sales or technical architecting experience
  • Stay up to date on products, applications, technical service, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature, seminars, and online training
  • Proven project management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven success and experience selling technologies solutions and services
  • Knowledge and proven success of engaging and working with sales teams
  • Ability to execute on sales goals and metrics
  • Ability to adapt and change to the business needs of the practice and team coverage model
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, including consulting skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong passion for learning and teaching others
  • Motivated and self-starting
  • Ability to think creatively and come up with proactive ideas that will increase sales

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for technical pre-sales support on a wide breadth of solutions across the Barcodes portfolio to a variety of industries
  • Speak confidently to current and prospective customers about Barcodes product and service offerings, including SLA’s, reporting, and other capabilities.
  • Perform onsite customer-facing presentations
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert on RFID, AIDC, Mobility, Printing, and other industry-specific categories.
  • Identify and propose solutions for asset management, inventory, work in process, mobile device management, route management, and other industrial applications.
  • Onsite pre-sales customer visits when necessary.
  • Work closely with Sales to grow sales in Services, software, OEM service contracts, hardware, media, and all other applicable categories.
  • Troubleshooting and setup of demo devices.
  • Work closely with Professional Services to deliver qualified opportunities and project requirements.
  • Assist in RFP responses and other requests
  • Participate and maintain in technical and sales certifications from various OEM’s training programs
  • Partner with sales to identify prospect accounts and develop strategies to engage and win accounts
  • Maintain and develop relationships with the Sales Director and sales department to assist and support them with customer needs and to ensure a complete understanding of project requirements and professional services expectations
  • Maintain and develop relationships with OEM Partners for training requirements and Product road maps and Partner announcements.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with ISV Partners for training requirements and software integration specifications.
  • Provide training to the sales team on professional services.
