Responsibilities & Qualifications:
Federal Senior Solutions Architect is a technical leadership role responsible for designing and implementing advanced IT solutions for federal customers. This individual will collaborate closely with sales teams, engineering teams, and federal agencies to develop and deliver innovative solutions that align with mission-critical requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of federal IT environments, and the ability to guide clients through complex architectural decisions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in IT solutions architecture, system engineering, or technical consulting.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise IT solutions for federal agencies.
  • Strong knowledge of federal acquisition processes and compliance frameworks.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, CISSP, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience working with federal contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, NASA SEWP, DoD IDIQs).

COMPETENCIES

  • Expertise in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid cloud architectures.
  • Deep understanding of networking, cybersecurity, and data center infrastructure.
  • Strong ability to lead technical discussions and present complex solutions to federal stakeholders.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, automation, and AI-driven technologies.
  • Ability to navigate federal procurement cycles and assist in technical proposal development.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and professional manner.

  • Proposal & Pre-Sales Support: Lead technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and customer presentations, ensuring alignment with federal compliance and security requirements.
  • Solution Development: Design and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance IT solutions tailored to federal customers’ needs.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business challenges into technical solutions.
  • Technology Expertise: Stay current with emerging technologies, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, AI/ML, and DevSecOps.
  • Collaboration & Strategy: Work closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to develop long-term IT strategies for federal clients.
  • Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet federal regulatory standards such as FedRAMP, NIST, FISMA, and DoD cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with federal agencies, program managers, and contracting officers.
