The Senior Sommelier at Mezzogiorno Restaurant is responsible for managing all aspects of wine service, working alongside the Head Sommelier to ensure that the wine program is continuously evolving and remains aligned with the restaurant’s ethos. This role requires a deep understanding of wine, exceptional guest service skills, and leadership abilities, as the Senior Sommelier will oversee the wine service team and provide guidance to junior sommeliers and waitstaff. The Senior Sommelier will play a key role in enhancing the guest experience, assisting with the wine list development, and ensuring the smooth operation of wine service throughout service hours.
