We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Sommelier to join our esteemed wine team. As a Senior Sommelier,you will play a pivotal role in curating our extensive wine list,providing expert guidance to guests,and contributing to the overall excellence of our dining experience. If you have a passion for wine,a wealth of knowledge in oenology,and a proven track record of elevating the dining experience,we invite you to be a key influencer at our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and curate the wine program,ensuring a diverse and exceptional selection.
  • Provide expert recommendations to guests,suggesting wine pairings that enhance their dining experience.
  • Training and mentoring the sommelier team,fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute wine-focused events and promotions.
  • Manage wine inventory,order supplies,and ensure proper storage conditions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends,new releases,and emerging winemakers.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or in a similar leadership role within a high-end restaurant.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines,regions,and varietals,supported by relevant certifications.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage tasks.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
