SUMMARY

The Senior Sourcing Specialist participates in the companywide procurement process, which includes strategic sourcing, supplier and contract negotiations, project management, supplier relationship management, and supplier diversity program.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Required Education, Experience, Certification/Licensure
• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, or degree
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a member of a sourcing department
• Successful contract negotiation experience in software, hardware and technology services
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a plus
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must possess strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience with setting and achieving MBO goals is a plus

• Identifies and executes company-wide cost savings opportunities which involves sourcing suppliers, managing competitive bids and negotiating with suppliers with emphasis on IT sourcing of hardware and software.
• Creating and distributing Request for Information and Request for Proposals
• Analyzing supplier’s proposals and presenting results
• Research vendors to best suit availability, price and quality for each product or service
• Review contract database and initiate contract renewal meetings
• Prepare supplier business reviews annually
• Perform other duties as assigned
