Company Description We’re looking for a Senior Sous Chef to balance creativity with precision, help lead the kitchen team, turn ideas into dishes and keep the kitchen firing on all burners at The Hoxton, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day kitchen related activities, supporting with the management of all kitchen teams and back of house F&B spaces. What you’ll do… Support the Executive Chef in leading a large, dynamic kitchen team. Step up and run the show when our Executive Chef is away, keeping the kitchen buzzing and standards sky-high. Lead from the front when it comes to people, giving thoughtful feedback through performance reviews and coaching, supporting development, championing growth, and building a team that keeps getting better. Help shape a kitchen culture that’s positive, collaborative, and genuinely enjoyable to be part of, where everyone feels supported and proud of what they do. Create, execute, and produce top-notch food with a constant eye on the highest quality standards, presentation, and flavour. Proven track record managing large kitchen teams. A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu. A natural at leading and managing others, you lead by example and create an environment where your team can be their best self.
