Brown Sugar is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to lead their team!
A local neighborhood institution, turning 25 years this year. Brown Sugar is a 68-seater restaurant, who is run by a small team of passionate industry professionals committed to delivering the most memorable relaxed fine dining experience.
We are looking for a strong leader with exceptional people management and organisational skills who loves to be part of a team. You will have a strong eye for detail, be very organised, demonstrate ability to deliver the highest quality of work to ensure Customers leave with their expectations exceeded.
About the role:
Overseeing the kitchen you will inspire, mentor, organise and motivate the Brown Sugar Team to delivering the highest quality dishes.
About You:

To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years experience working in a similar role
  • Equivalent to at least an AQF diploma
  • Positive attitude, with a passion for cooking food
  • Experience and ability to manage food and wage costs
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Passion for creating quality and consistency in every plate put out
  • The want to grow and develop your career
