We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Sous Chef to join the culinary team at DELONIX Karawang, an esteemed member of AYANA Hospitality. This role involves overseeing the kitchen operations, creating an authentic Indonesian menu, and leading a dedicated team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement a diverse and innovative Indonesian menu that reflects the rich culinary heritage of Indonesia. Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, preparation, and presentation. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and creative working environment. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe and clean kitchen. Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and maintain inventory levels. Review financial performance, including food costs and waste management, to optimize kitchen profitability. Engage with guests to receive feedback and adapt menu offerings accordingly. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably in Indonesian cuisine. Demonstrated expertise in traditional and modern Indonesian cooking techniques and flavors. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP certification is a plus. Creativity and innovation in menu development along with a passion for culinary excellence.
