JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled sous chef to join our dynamic small kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for French culinary arts and a strong understanding of food preparation techniques. As a sous chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality prep and dishes in accordance with our restaurant’s standards, ensuring that every dish is presented beautifully and served promptly. You will work closely with our others chefs and KPs to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold food safety regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a French restaurant is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe working environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively
  • A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to help others in the kitchen will set you apart as an ideal candidate.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Fleurie’s recipes
  • Work alongside other chefs on menu changes and specials
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area
  • Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols as needed
