We are currently seeking a creative, innovative and inspirational Senior Sous Chef to join our Culinary team.
Reporting directly to our Executive Chef, Jonny Wright, and working closely with our senior culinary team you’ll play a key role in helping shape our future as one of the finest food destinations in the country. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your skills and expertise whilst ensuring the consistency and success of our culinary offering across the hotel.
The on target earning potential for this role is £54,130 / per annum - comprising a base salary of £47,130.72, plus a qualified estimate of £7,000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards

Responsibilities
  • You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to lead, nurture and grow a talented brigade of over 30 chefs and 10 stewards
  • A hands-on leader in the kitchen, you’ll take ownership of The Spence, our vibrant all-day dining destination, while also supporting operations across our other exceptional outlets
  • Partnering closely with our Executive Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in menu development, celebrating Scotland’s outstanding seasonal produce while infusing bold, global flavours. You’ll help foster a creative, ever-evolving culinary environment where innovation is embraced, and new, exciting taste combinations are always on the horizon
  • You’ll help shape a calendar of spectacular culinary moments throughout the year, from bespoke guest experiences to memorable events for our members, consistently raising the bar and exceeding expectations
  • As a senior member of our Culinary team, you’ll lead with passion, purpose and precision, inspiring creativity, setting impeccable standards, and always striving for perfection.
