The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic event catering team. As Senior Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations—planning, preparation, service, and supervision of staff—ensuring that each event runs smoothly and exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and execution of bespoke menus for various events.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure all food is prepared to the highest standard.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment in line with health and safety regulations.
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory.
  • Ensure smooth kitchen operations during events, including on-site setup and service.
  • Support the Head Chef in training junior team members and maintaining team morale.
  • Step up in the absence of the Head Chef.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef, ideally within event catering or high-volume kitchens.
  • Culinary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to event locations as required.
  • A creative, can-do attitude and a passion for exceptional food.
