We are looking for a talented and dedicated Senior Sous Chef at Hetland Hall Hotel.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Hetland Hall Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. We are passionate about providing our guests with unforgettable experiences and are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Head Chef in their absence, taking full responsibility for kitchen operations, including staff supervision, food quality, and service delivery
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Lead, mentor, and train junior chefs and kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive working environment
  • Help manage inventory, ordering, and stock control, working to achieve budgeted gross profit and minimise waste
  • Contribute to a friendly, respectful, and collaborative kitchen culture
