We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. From county matches and T20s to The Hundred and international fixtures, you’ll play a vital role in the kitchen, helping us serve up excellence during high-profile cricket events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support Match Day Operations: Assist the Head Chef in planning and executing high-quality food service during cricket match days for players, staff, and VIPs.
  • Food Preparation & Quality Control: Prepare and present dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and refine innovative, seasonal menus tailored to cricket events and dietary requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure effective teamwork, especially under the pressure of live events.
  • Inventory & Cost Management: Monitor stock levels, manage orders, and control food costs and wastage through efficient inventory practices.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold rigorous hygiene, health, and safety standards in all kitchen operations, maintaining cleanliness and adhering to company policies.
  • Cross-Departmental Coordination: Communicate effectively with hospitality and event teams to ensure smooth, coordinated service delivery.
  • Guest Satisfaction: Engage with guests when appropriate to gather feedback, address concerns professionally, and enhance the overall culinary experience.
