Whitehall Garden Centre is a family run and award winning business.
We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef to help our Head Chef and catering team in our Herb Garden restaurant. This is a fabulous opportunity for any experienced Senior Sous chef or ambitious sous offering straight shifts, no evenings.
To work 4 days during the week plus alternate weekends, with the added benefit of having Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday off.

As a Senior Sous Chef you will:

• Assist in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen
• Assist in managing and motivating a professional brigade
• Train junior members of staff
• Possess excellent communication skills and lead by example
• Be a creative and talented chef who can support and help inspire the team, ensuring all food preparation is completed on time and service runs efficiently.
• Help in stock management, assist in menu creation and have experience in costings
• Ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is practiced and maintained to meet Health & Safety regulations and food preparation guidelines
